Best in the Fall, but beautiful throughout the Spring - Autumn months, this 16 night trip begins in the city of Boston, famous for the Boston Tea Party before heading to Cape Cod and then a tour around some of the highlights of New England including Acadia National Park, White Mountain National Forest, Stowe and the Green Mountains and the Finger Lakes.

Cape Cod (2 nights)
Make the short drive to Cape Cod, a hook-shaped peninsula southeast of Boston. There's quaint villages, seafood shacks, lighthouses, bays and beaches. If you would like, we can also book you a ferry to the resort island of Martha's Vineyard.

Day 6:
Kennebunkport
Take the coastal drive back past Boston and on to Kennebunkport in southern Maine. You’ll stay here for one night and there are some great beaches, including Goose Rocks Beach. The 1833 Goat Island Lighthouse sits in the harbor of quaint lobster-fishing village Cape Porpoise.

Acadia National Park (2 nights)
Continuing up the coast, your next two nights will be near Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island, one of the top ten most visited National Parks. The rocky landscape includes Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on the United States’ East Coast. Among the wildlife are moose, bear, whales and seabirds.

We highly recommend driving along the Kancamagus Scenic Byway; a 35 mile stretch of highway with gorgeous Autumn colours on your way to Stowe. You’ll be staying two nights giving you plenty of time to enjoy the charming little town of Stowe and its stunning scenery.
