Arrive in Las Vegas
You’ll arrive in Las Vegas Strip for your first night. Collect your rental car and then head to your hotel to relax. Tomorrow your will be starting your road trip and you’ll return to Las Vegas towards the end of your holiday while you explore places such as Death Valley National Park and Red Rock Canyon

Days 2 & 3:
Zion National Park (2 nights)
Heading northeast out of Las Vegas we recommend a short detour though Valley of Fire State Park before continuing to Zion National Park- your hotel for 2 nights is just outside the park. Tomorrow you have a full day to explore this National Park with hiking trails and the reward of canyons, rivers, emerald pools, waterfalls and even a hanging garden to find.

Day 4:
Bryce Canyon National Park
Despite its name, this National Park is a collection of huge, natural amphitheatres and distinctive colourful pinnacles known as Hoodoos. As with most of these stunning National Parks, if you can stretch your visit to include sunrise or sunset you are in for a real treat as the sun changes the colours on the rocks.

Lake Powell & Horseshoe Bend
This morning you will head to Page, Arizona for your next two nights. We highly recommend a visit to the viewing point for Horseshoe Bend just down the road from your hotel. Tomorrow you will visit the amazing Antelope Canyon.

Antelope Canyon
The main attraction during your visit to Page is to see Antelope Canyon; It's actually two seperate slot canyons and can be accessed through guided tours only. We will arrange this tour for you and the guide will walk your group through this amazing canyon and help you take some unbelievable photos! Tonight is your 2nd night in Page, AZ

Days 7 & 8:
Sedona (2 nights)
Our recommended route today is along the Grand Canyon South Rim (you’ll stay near the West Rim later in the trip), south through Flagstaff and then cruise along the picturesque US-64 into the city of Sedona. Nestled within beautiful rocks, you will love a relaxing two nights here to hike and explore or simply relax and soak in the view.

Day 9:
Grand Canyon West
Head back up the scenic US-64 and you may choose to drive sections of Route 66 to Kingman. Lunch in Seligman is highly recommended! Then drive the scenic route to your cabin near Grand Canyon West. Enjoy your evening on the ranch, tomorrow you will visit the Grand Canyon and maybe the Skywalk; a glass floored walkway over the canyon!

Las Vegas
You’ll spend the morning at Grand Canyon West. There is no rush as it is just 2 hours to Las Vegas although you will likely want to visit Hoover Dam on your way. You will spend the next 4 nights in Las Vegas, however it won’t be all casinos and bling as you will take day trips out to Death Valley and Red Rock Canyon while you’re here!

Death Valley National Park
Today you will take a day trip out to Death Valley - one of the hottest places on earth! It’s the largest US National Park outside of Alaska at 3.4 million acres. The trip is around 130 miles/2.5 hours each way. If you prefer, we can book an overnight stay in the park. There are plenty of scenic drives and vista points to enjoy before returning to Las Vegas for your evening.

Red Rock Canyon
Just around 40 minutes from the Las Vegas strip is Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Take your time to drive the scenic loop here and take in the lovely views from many vista points. The total drive is just around 50 miles today!

Sedona, AZ
Just an hour south of your route, Sedona is a small city surrounded by red rock buttes, steep canyons and pine forests with Slide Rock and Red Rock State Parks in the immediate vicinity. An overnight stop either here or in Flagstaff would give more time to explore the area.
Death Valley, CA
Just a couple of hours west of Las Vegas lies Death Valley, National Park - one of the hottest places on earth. We recommend spending a full day here, perhaps with an overnight stay at the wonderful The Oasis Resort
Petrified Forest
Just off your route and along the original Route 66 is the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest. It’s easy to spend several hours gazing at the wonderful views as you drive around stopping at vista points for photo opportunities or hikes.
