When to go
April - May & Sept - Oct: Days are warm, but not too hot. Evenings can be cool.
June - August: From late June through the summer months the Deep South can get very hot in the day.

Winter daytime temperatures are usually in the 1-4°C range, occasionally dropping to zero or below.
