Harley Davidson will celebrate its 120th anniversary in 2023 with the launch of Harley-Davidson Homecoming, an annual four-day festival filled with music, food and moto-culture. The inaugural event will be held in Harley’s hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 13–16, 2023. Riders, enthusiasts, and fans from around the world will gather for this unforgettable weekend.

To celebrate this event, we have two exclusive group tours which are available in 2023.

Washington DC to Milwaukee

If you are planning on hitting the epic 120th Anniversary Celebration that Harley-Davidson has planned in Milwaukee in July of 2023, rest assured there is no better way to get there than on one of our Custom Guided Tours created specifically for this event.
This tour kicks off in the heart of Washington D.C., then hits some of the most iconic attractions and cities in the Northern U.S., including Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where Abraham Lincoln delivered one of the most famous speeches in US history, Niagara Falls, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and a ferry ride across Lake Michigan to land in Milwaukee. In between, there are stops at famous US college towns, waterfront and backroads through the heart of America, and first-class accommodations, along with a few special surprises.

You will join a group for this fixed itinerary. However we can add additional nights at the start or end of your holiday if you wish.

Day 1:
Washington DC

We highly recommend arriving at least a day or two early to give yourselves time to take in all of the sights and attractions that Washington D.C. has to offer. It is a very walkable city for those that like to get out and explore. We’ll kick off tonight with an orientation and hosted Welcome Dinner to get to know the guide team and your fellow riders.

Day 2:
State College

The highlight today, aside from some awesome riding, is the stop at Gettysburg National Military Park, Museum, and Visitor’s Center. There is no better place to walk away from with a real sense of what the Civil War meant to this country and its eventual recovery and rebuilding.

Days 3 & 4:
Niagara Falls (2 nights)

More great riding today as we head for a stop in Buffalo, NY, birthplace of “buffalo wings”. From here, we head to Niagara Falls, NY, a place that needs no introduction. Niagara Falls, while not actually a “natural wonder,” is truly a sight to behold. We’ll enjoy the town tonight, then set up for an epic tour of the falls from below tomorrow

Days 5 & 6:
Cleveland (2 nights)

From Niagara Falls we will roll along the lake, with a few turns inland for some cool roads, as we make our way to Cleveland. Now, the city of Cleveland may not be high on your list of places to visit, but if you are a music lover, we are sure the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame most certainly is. We won’t get into town in time to hit the museum tonight, but we’ll have some fun since we have tomorrow off.

Day 7:
Ann Arbor

The road to Milwaukee continues as our routes follows the contour of Lake Erie towards Ann Arbor. While we aren’t always cruising along the water, the riding and scenery are beautiful, as we cruise through “middle-America” towns. Downtown Ann Arbor is a great place to explore, enjoy some great food and drinks. You can even take in a walk around the massive campus of the University of Michigan.

Day 8:
Muskegon

More great riding through the heart of Michigan as we make our way towards the waterfront town of Muskegon. We have some great stops planned for lunch and some sightseeing, but we’ll plan to hit Muskegon early to enjoy the late summer afternoon and early evening along the shores of Lake Michigan. Tonight, a bit of fun, as tomorrow is mostly the ferry ride into the heart of Downtown Milwaukee.

Days 9 - 12:
Milwaukee (4 Nights)

The ferry ride from Muskegon to Milwaukee allows plenty of time to take in the beauty of Lake Michigan. And talk about arriving at the 120th Anniversary celebration in style! We’ll avoid the event traffic and ride from the ferry straight to our hotel just outside Milwaukee. We will have organized group rides to events, as well as some sightseeing rides around the area, or you are free to explore on your own.

Last Day & Fly Home

It’s a quick ride from Milwaukee to Chicago to drop the bikes near O’Hare Airport. We’ll arrive late morning or early afternoon, depending on traffic. You can either fly home from here or have a few nights to enjoy downtown Chicago. Either way, it’s been a heck of a journey, and now you can also check a Harley-Davidson Anniversary Celebration off your motorcycle bucket list!

This unique American city is famous around the world for its culture, cuisine, and music but go easy in the Big Easy, as we’ve got some ridin’ to do tomorrow. Day 2:
Natchez

We’ll begin our ride today by rolling out of New Orleans by way of the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway, at 28 miles it is the longest bridge over water in the world! From there we spend the day riding the backroads of Mississippi, experiencing the Blues Trail we’ll be following for a few days. Tonight, we get to explore the great blues town of Natchez.

Day 3:
Clarksdale

There are tons of Blues Trail Markers to hit today, as well as some incredibly preserved “Juke Joints” such as Po’ Monkeys in Marigold. The food, well, it’s a menu of soul food, BBQ, and sweet tea. Before arriving at our hotel, we’ll take a stop at the “Crossroads” where Robert Johnson sold his soul to the devil. Tonight, it’s cold drinks and live blues!

Day 4:
Memphis

Today is all about exploring Memphis! Music lovers know Beale Street, a national historical landmark which showcases the impact Memphis has had on the Blues and Jazz. One of the city’s most important Rock and Roll icons is Sun Studio, which discovered the talents of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison. It’s just a short ride from Clarksdale so we’ll have plenty of time to explore this amazing city.

Day 5:
Muscle Shoals

From Memphis we’ll head out of Tennessee and into Alabama where we’ll have time to explore the famous city of Muscle Shoals. Since the 1960s, the city has been known for music – developing the "Muscle Shoals Sound", as local recording studios (including FAME Studios in the late 1950s and Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in 1969) produced hit records that shaped the history of popular music.

Nashville (2 Nights)

Today we head North into the southern Appalachian foothills of Tennessee for a beautiful day of riding along the winding and historic Natchez Trace Parkway. We’ll also make a stop at the Jack Daniels Distillery for lunch and a guided tour of this famous site! For the next two nights we’ll land in the Country Music Capital of the World – Nashville!

Lexington

Another beautiful backroads ride is in store today, as we head north into Kentucky. Along the way we’ll pass Bowling Green at the National Corvette Museum, this is where America’s favorite sports car are made, and Maker’s Mark distillery in Loretto. We'll shoot over to overnight in beautiful Lexington Kentucky.

Day 9:
Fort Wayne

Now we are hot on the “Bourbon Trail,” home to some of the most underrated motorcycle roads in the country. Kentucky and Indiana both offer hundreds and hundreds of miles of backroads and byways, each dotted with everything from large brands to backyard, boutique bourbon distilleries.

Chicago

Today we will ride through the state of Indiana on our way to Chicago, where even more great music, great food, and great culture awaits us. Chicago is a great city to wander around with attractions including the Willis Tower, the second tallest building in the USA, the “magnificent mile”, The Bean (pictured) and of course Wrigley Field, the home of the Chicago Cubs!
