You’ll fly into LAX and head to nearby Santa Monica for your first three nights. There’s no shortage of things to do here; Hollywood, Rodeo Drive, Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach… The list goes on but don’t worry, we’ll give you a great itinerary for your trip

Days 4 - 6:
Palm Springs (3 nights)
Head into the desert today for your next three nights in Palm Springs. Close by you’ll find both Joshua Tree National Park and Coachella Valley Preserve. You can also visit Elvis’ hideaway house or ride in the world’s largest rotating tramway which ascends 2500 metres above this wonderful resort city.

Today you’ll drive south towards the Mexican border as far as San Diego where you’ll stay for another three nights. Enjoy the Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego Zoo and maybe take a day trip into nearby Mexico from here.

Final Day & Fly Home
Enjoy the very pleasant 2.5 hour drive along Highways 5 & 1, the Pacific Coast Highway back to Los Angeles where, this evening you’ll drop the rental car off and catch your overnight flight back to the UK.

Route 66
You’re not far from the California stretch of historic Route 66. We can add an extra night or two, giving you time to enjoy the last couple of hundred miles of this famous road. You’ll be able to visit Roy’s (pictured), Barstow, Victorville and Pasadena.
Pacific Coast Highway
If you have a few extra days, why not enjoy the Pacific Coast Highway which runs from LA to San Francisco or even just a section of this stunning drive?
