You’ll fly into Calgary before making the short drive towards the Rockies and staying in the lovely mountain resort town of Banff for two nights.
You’ll then head up the scenic Icefields Parkway through the Rockies staying in Lake Louise and Jasper at the north end of this scenic road. On the way you can explore both Jasper and Banff National Parks and head out onto a real glacier with the Glacier Explorer! You’ll then take the scenic route through Kamloops to the wonderful ski town of Whistler before heading along the scenic sea-to-sky highway to Vancouver Island for 3 nights before your final 3 nights in downtown Vancouver.

Palm Springs was a desert retreat for Hollywood stars and also became an occasional home of Elvis and you can take a tour of his honeymoon hideaway where he and Priscilla stayed right after their wedding. It has also become a big resort location with luxury hotels and golf courses.
Early in the trip, as you approach Springfield in Missouri you can turn off Route 66 and head towards Branson, the self styled “Entertainment Capital of the World”. This has long been a tourist destination for Americans and is famous for shows.
Between Monument Valley and Grand Canyon you can visit Page for one or two nights. Nearby Antelope Canyon is a must and it’s definately worth a guided tour around one of these two seperate slot canyons. Lake Powell, a nearby man-made reservoir is amazing! Of course the best way to enjoy it to the full is to either hire a boat or take a boat tour. You can even take a dinner cruise as you enjoy this outstanding location.
